Water is an essential for our life. But there has been scarcity of clean water for drinking in both urban and rural regions. Water purifiers have become basic necessity.
Water purifiers are widely used in houses and public places. They come in different variety and types according to its cost.
Hence, it has a huge scope to work on.
Hence, we started research on ways by which water can be purified.

• Replacement of filter again and again

• Non sustainable as mainly plastic is used
From the list we get 'Needs' of target user i.e. middle and lower middle class people.
Need Statement:
A way to overcome the problem of water cooling, maintenance and costing in existing water purifiers so that its functionality and affordance is improved.
Concept generation and evaluation using
We made final concept adding the features of concept 2, 8 & 6 together.
The final features were decided to be
• Retrofittable to different pots
• Non electric
• 3 stage purification
• Auto water level sensing
• Minimal design with no buttons
